Description
Three-phase Electricity has HVS-Heat shrink straight splice for shielded cables up to 72 kV TE Connectivity.
The HVS (High Voltage Splice) heat-shrinkable splice is used in all types of dry cables, insulated in PVC, XLPE or EPR, single-core or three-core, with or without armor, with voltage up to 72 kV. This splice far exceeds IEE-404 specifications, ensuring high reliability, proven in installations over 30 years old in all types of industrial applications, operating in permanent submersion conditions, in the open air, or in ducts. Approved in accordance with ABNT-NBR 9314.
Advantages:
• Easy installation
• Designed to operate in conditions more severe than the cable itself
• Permanent sealing
• Indefinite storage
• Exceeds cable life expectancy
• Sealant is heat activated, providing a permanent seal against moisture and external elements
• No periodic maintenance required
Voltage:
• Insulation up to 72 kV
Operating temperature:
• Steady state 105˚C
• Overload regime 130˚C
• Short circuit rating 250˚C
