The CRSM cable sleeve is a fast and permanent system for repairing and sealing multipurpose cables, made of cross-linked polyolefin that matches or exceeds the properties of the cable jacket material. The sleeve is placed around the cable and closed with a stainless steel zipper. Applying heat, the sleeve contracts, and the internal "Hot Melt" sealant fuses, filling all spaces beneath the sleeve. This repairs the cable insulation splices or failures with a moisture-resistant sealant and high mechanical strength. It can be used on shielded or unshielded cables up to 1 kV, EPR, PVC, and XLPE insulated, and from 6 to 1000 mm². It is also recommended for repairing the outer jacket of cables up to 35 kV.
