Description
In the Three-phase electrical you find the Overlap Calibration Switch 2.0kV 20A/600V, developed following the best quality concepts and designed based on market research, seeking to meet the expectations and needs of our customers.
Use
This equipment is intended for use in panels and indirect measurement systems of active and/or reactive energy, and can be applied to all models of electromechanical or electronic meters sold, allowing for easy replacement, monitoring and calibration of the meter.
Operation
The Overlay Calibration Switch (BTS) is an electromechanical, overlay-mounted device. When operating the system during testing, maintenance, and equipment replacement, it ensures electrical isolation in the open position. When the switches are closed, it maintains the continuity of the electrical voltage and current circuits.
Our product was developed so that when the current circuit knives are opened, a total short circuit occurs between the switch's current input connections, thus avoiding the opening of the CT's secondary circuit, that is, before the knives are fully opened, they provide a short circuit in the terminals of the CT's secondary coupled to the switch used.
Installation
Easy to install and handle, it guarantees extremely safe repairs and replacement of system parts.
The key is installed from the front in electrical panels and measurement systems, using six optional fixing points.
The cable conductor fixings can be connected via eyelet type terminals with (internal hole diameter 4.2 mm and maximum external diameter of 11.5 mm).
Its components are injected with flame retardant products (class V1 flame retardant).
Construction Features
Block / Back Plate
The calibration key block is made of black or translucent (transparent) polycarbonate, with excellent dimensional stability, high insulation power and excellent mechanical resistance, capable of withstanding high temperatures without deformation in its structure.
It has visible identification, with easy access to model information (BTS), maximum voltage and nominal current.
The Farcel back plate is injected in black or translucent (transparent) polycarbonate.
Protective Cover
The Farcel calibration key's protective cover is injected from polycarbonate, removable, and molded in a single, fully translucent (transparent) piece. It is resistant to mechanical shock and equipped with devices for installing anti-fraud seals (which prevent access to the inside of the key without breaking the seals).
The Farcel cover is indelibly engraved with the manufacturer's name (FARCEL) and model (BTS). It is designed so that it cannot be fitted to the key without all the blade switches being fully closed.
Our cover provides complete protection, isolating the knife switches when they are open. When in the maintenance position, it protects the operator from accidents and mechanical shocks.
Connection Connection
Made of copper, with a surface treatment of chemical nickel, which provides better electrical conductivity, allowing a firm, safe and permanent connection of the connecting conductors, both with the eyelet-type terminal and with the stripped conductor and fixed by a nail-type plate, which guarantees an excellent capacity to withstand the maximum specified current.
Disconnector sets (claw, knife switch and short-circuit spring), made of extra-hard copper, with spring effect, allowing excellent performance in volumetric electrical conductivity (44% IACS).
Voltage and current poles – Keys
Knife switch with rigid, colored actuation handle, injected from durable, insulating polyamide. Optional circuit identifiers available.
Keys designed so that the operator, when pressing them, does not run the risk of touching conductive parts.
Voltage poles: keys manufactured with enlarged fins, for greater protection during handling.
Fixed or sectionable neutral
We have the option of having a fixed or disconnectable neutral pole. A fixed neutral pole is a continuous brass blade that connects the switch's input and output neutral terminals. A disconnectable neutral pole consists of a colored button instead of a continuous blade, with the same function of connecting the switch's input and output neutral terminals. This disconnectable neutral pole can be open or closed.
Nominal voltage: 600 volts.
Insulation class: 2.5 kV.
Nominal current: 20 A or 30 A
*Withstands a peak current of 100 A for approximately 60 seconds, without causing deformation or compromising its functionality.
